Adam Genn | MAG Partners

Adam Genn is Co-Lead of Development at MAG Partners. He is responsible for master planning, entitlements, government relations, legislative affairs, TIF, affordable and conventional financing, development and management efforts across initiatives including the Port Covington Development Project and its Community Benefits Agreements. Mr. Genn has over ten years of real estate development experience and specializes in turnkey delivery of ground-up development and construction projects from entitlement and financing through construction, occupancy, and management.    


Prior to joining MAG Partners, Mr. Genn was Managing Director of Development for Weller Development Company responsible for entitling, financing, and delivering over $650 Million of improvements including stewardship of ~$137MM of TIF Bonds. Mr. Genn previously worked as a General Contractor and Owner’s Representative on mixed-use and transit-oriented development projects across the state of Maryland.  Among these projects was a 3.5+ million square foot, mixed-use infill redevelopment project adjacent to the Prince George’s Plaza metro, the first phase of which was named the 2014 MBIA multi-family project of the year.  Mr. Genn earned his bachelor’s degree from Emory University where he was a four-year varsity letter winner and two-year captain of the Baseball Team, and was a Dean’s Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business in the Master of Real Estate and Infrastructure program.
