Alicia Lucksted has lived in Baltimore’s Brooklyn neighborhood since January of 2017 and in Baltimore since 1995. She is a key volunteer with Action Baybrook, a resident-led nonprofit working to reduce blight in the Brooklyn & Curtis Bay SB7 neighborhoods and Brooklyn Park (the three together were historically called Baybrook). She is also involved in the neighborhood association, Concerned Citizens for a Better Brooklyn, and volunteers on projects and events with other Brooklyn and Curtis Bay organizations to improve conditions, quality of life, and to build positive community.
Professionally, Ms. Lucksted is a clinical-community research psychologist at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the VA Maryland Healthcare System.
