Angela Smothers is a lifelong resident of Mt. Winans, a dedicated community member, and the newly elected president of the Mt. Winans Community Association. She volunteers in various efforts to uplift her community including, but not limited to, mentorship, community beautification, and charitable food distribution.
She attended Baltimore City Public Schools for her general studies and later returned to Baltimore City Community College in pursuit of an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice/Business Administration in 2006. Through Ms. Smothers’ continued service in outreach, she hopes to fulfill her mission for the Mt. Winans community with building a better community through love and unity.
While managing a full-time position with Maryland Natural Resources Police Department (MNRP), Ms. Smothers finds time to focus on worthy initiatives such as social and youth agendas and supporting community improvements.
Ms. Smothers is a loving mother of two children, grandmother of five, and a dedicated prayer soldier seeking to assure that it is not where you live, but how you live that matters most.
