Ashley Cotton | MAG Partners

Ashley Cotton is a Principal at MAG Partners and oversees government affairs, communications and marketing for the company.  


MAG Partners spun out of a successful two-year partnership with the L&L Holding Company founders, called L&L MAG.  As Managing Director for L&L MAG, Ashley lead public affairs for both companies including the 10 million square foot commercial real estate operating and development portfolio. She led the positioning and launch of Terminal Warehouse, a 1.2 million square foot historic warehouse to office conversion in Chelsea and TSX Broadway, a first-of-its-kind full-building promotional platform in the heart of Times Square.    


Previously, Ashley served as Executive Vice President at Forest City Ratner Companies, managing all external relations for the company. In that role she oversaw media and community relations for complex development projects such as Pacific Park Brooklyn, Barclays Center and the Tata Innovation Center at Cornell Tech, as well as directing the marketing strategy for the company’s multimillion square foot residential, commercial and retail portfolio.  


Prior to Forest City, Ashley served as a Senior Policy Advisor to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development.   Ashley is a graduate of Bowdoin College and received her Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University. A Brooklyn resident, she serves on the board of BRIC Arts Media.
