Chenire Carter is the Director of Community and Experiences at MAG Partners. Responsible for facilitating the implementation of a $139MM MOU/community benefits agreement with Baltimore City and six south Baltimore neighborhoods. In her role, she provides resources to each community to build capacity in the changing landscape of the city, strategically create plans for sustainability, and meet the needs of community members around housing, education, transportation, public safety, and environmental matters.
Chenire is an entrepreneurial, senior executive with 15+ years of passionate experience igniting change through strategic leadership and relationship cultivation, fund development, and program creation both in non-profit and private sectors. Recognized as a master campaign strategist and spokesperson as demonstrated accomplishments include organizing capital campaigns, creating organizational brand exposure by securing segments at local television stations, and developing programs that create community awareness around education as a human right and support of long-term, academic growth and development of underserved communities. She worked at Higher Achievement, St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, Goucher College, Paul’s Place, Baltimore City Public Schools and served on many boards.
Chenire has worked in development for non-profits curating events, raising funds, friends, and awareness for causes with accomplishments such as overseeing 3 Capital Campaigns that raised over $12 million. She also reorganized planning and execution of signature fundraising events for 2000+ participants that resulted in cultivating over $155,000 of yearly revenue within three years which increased from $15,000.
She studied at University of Phoenix and Maryland College Institute of Art.
