Matthew Winton | Sagamore Ventures

Matthew Winton leads asset management at Sagamore Ventures, overseeing the family office’s diverse portfolio, including Baltimore Peninsula, residential holdings, and other commercial assets. In this role, Matt guides day-to-day asset management with a focus on long-term value creation.

Previously, Matt served as Director of Real Estate at Outlook Holdings, where he managed a family office portfolio spanning land, office, retail, and residential assets. He led the entitlement and early development of a new town in Martin County, Florida, securing approvals for thousands of residential units and millions of square feet of commercial, office, and industrial space, while overseeing infrastructure planning and implementation.

Matt holds a Master of Accounting and an MBA in Finance & Investment Banking from American University’s Kogod School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Florida State University. He lives in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC with his wife, Sarah, and their two young children, Jack and Charlie.
